Although today I took WFH because I didn't manage to sleep early last night (holy shit I slept at 5AM), I'm doing overtime since some delays on the backend caused me not being able to work on anything in the frontend. Being the frontend guy, it's not really a valid excuse because I can just mock everything and then later adjust to the API. But that requires an API contract to be defined first and the biggest problem is that the API contract is not being upheld. There are a lot of uncertainty that prevent me from doing anything ahead of time. There might be changes here and there, and I just don't feel like committing to that possibilities. I do understand that sometimes your work is just going to be wasted because of higher ups, but that's the exact reason on why I don't want to go for that. It's a gamble, really.

I ended up with having constant headache out of worrying the demo tomorrow and also the anxiety of waiting for update from the senior dev. I think, this can be really prevented, really. It's partly my fault as well of not working on the bits during the weekends. But well, shit happens I guess. It's also not everyday we're having this moment, which I feel like it's just a small bump on the road. Tomorrow I'll make sure to come back fast and take my very deserved sleep. Though, I'll be having one soon actually.

I think that's for the today's work. On the other hand, I've been improving Yuuka bot bit by bit, and now I'm having it to show the accounts balance after each transaction. It's somehow able to scare me on the amount of money left after each transaction, greatly increasing my awareness towards my financial situation. I guess, slowly going towards that financially disciplined stance, eh?

I feel like I can still improve the recap part of the bot since it's not looking good. But eh, later I guess. At least the major problem is fixed. It's purely made with vibe coding so far and while it's fun, I still need to actually learn about the current DB schema because I do feel like it has gone overcomplicated somewhere. I'll put that as next agenda, when I remember.

On the blog, I've added autosave feature. Somehow it made me feel like I need to write constantly because I don't want to trigger that autosave, lmao. It's a great thing to have at least.
